I thought I was doing good this morning when I made it on the treadmill. Running in my temperature controlled house, with the fan blowing on me, I was dazedly watching out the window when I saw my neighbor, in her spandex and scarf jogging down the street! It’s too cold out for me, y’all! It reminded me, there will always be someone out there to ‘one up’ me! That’s the curse of comparison thinking. But God calls us to run in our own lane. We each have a unique calling, and giftedness. When we get too busy looking at what we don’t have, we miss our own calling.
“Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else,”
