Anxiety.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7 NIV

Have you ever prayed and then thought, “Okay, now where is the peace?”

It is promised here: the peace of God will guard your hearts and minds.

When I feel anxious or restless, I’ve learned it is usually because I am fighting submission to God’s commands or His authority. I want to be in control. My flesh cries out for its own way and in my mind a battle ensues. There is a restlessness I call anxiety. When I submit my requests and my desires to God, peace comes. When I say submit, I don’t mean that I have made my demands, but rather that I have laid down my desires and surrendered control. It is a complete entrusting myself to Him who is able. It is trusting Him be more than enough for whatever He allows in my life. Strength comes from quietly trusting in the LORD. (Isaiah 30:15)

When you are resolved, there is no decision to be made. It has been decided.
